About Enhance Learning & Support
My name is Christiana and I am the owner of Enhance Learning and Support (ELS). I have a BA Hons Degree in Health and Social Care Management as well as being a Learning Disability Nurse. I have also completed CPD courses in assessing and mentoring, health assessment, paediatric epilepsy, behaviour management and sleep.
I have over 15 years experience in the field of learning disabilities working with both adults and children in a variety of setting ranging from residential care, respite care, community nursing, CAMHS LD, forensics, management and school, nursing.
ELS was founded as I am passionate about individuals with a learning disability receiving the best quality services and care. I identified gaps in services offered to people in Warwickshire living with a learning disability; many do not receive support/service due to strict criteria, whilst offers are passed between services, leaving many children and adults with a learning disability with unmet needs. This gave me the drive to develop a service that was both equitable and flexible to service user needs.
The training element of the service was developed as I have a great belief that in order to support individuals with a learning disability, organisations and services need highly trained staff to improve the quality of care they deliver.
The team at ELS is made up of highly qualified and experience Registered Learning Disability Nurses. Our team strives to improve the lives of individuals through specialised training and nurse consultancy.
