Enhance Learning and Support provide a range of training to meet the needs of people with a learning disability.

Our training programmes cover awareness, communication & practical skills as well as health needs & clinical skills.

Training is delivered by highly trained and skilled Learning Disability Nurses.

Training with Enhance Learning and Support

The training I received was brilliant! I loved every minute and it was really interesting. I would recommend to everyone. I’ve learnt how to keep children with epilepsy safe and also how to use an epi-pen safely.

The school nursing service provided by Chrissy and her team plays a proactive role in meeting the health needs of our pupils. Contracting in this service gives us reassurance that the health needs of our pupils are under the appropriate team, SLT’s do not have a background in nursing, EL&S provides us in the expertise needed so we can focus on the education of our pupils.

EL&S have provided us with a nursing service that is flexible, compassionate and delivery’s effective care. Our pupils feel comfortable with the nursing team and have built positive relationships with all the staff in the team. Chrissy delivers an individual approach to the nursing service, we have been able to buy into vaccinations for our staff for example as well as additional support for our pupils, which is great as we can tailor the nursing service to meet our school needs.
